Specialized Training for All Registered Mental Health Professionals

A joint initiative between Funeral Professionals Peer Support (FPPS) and Ottawa Psychotherapy Services

    Bridging the Clinical Gap

Providing mental health support to Death Care Professionals—including funeral directors, coroners, and embalmers—requires more than generalist care. This intensive equips you with the occupational sensitivity needed to treat this unique population effectively and ethically.

Working with last responders is not the same as working with first responders; this is an important and ethical distinction.  To learn more about this training please click

A One-Day Immersion Into the Foundations of Relational Life Therapy

    Thursday, September 24, 2026 | Montreal, Quebec

A Framework That's Changing Couples Therapy

Most therapists were never taught a complete framework for couples work. Relational Life Therapy (RLT), developed by Terry Real, gives you a clear map — the phases, the clinical moves, and the stance — so you stop getting lost session to session and start guiding couples somewhere.

Join RLI Director of Training, Desirae Ysasi, LPC-S, in Montreal for a one-day foundations training. You'll leave with a working map of RLT, the five core principles, and the clinical moves you can use in your very next couples session.
